onlineMD is run by husband and wife team Alan & Lindsay and launched in 2009 when Lindsay was working as a singing teacher in London. She quickly realised that a lot of people just wanted to note bash their audition material and sing along with a good piano accompaniment rather than needing any vocal help. She started making rough recordings and sending them to students after their lessons and onlineMD was born! After a lot of investment in top-quality studio equipment, the quality and accuracy of our recordings is now second-to-none. Over the past few years, we have grown steadily and are now lucky enough to have a loyal following and count many top musical theatre names amongst our clients. 

With our combined experience in the music and theatre industry, we bring a unique blend of skills and experience to our clients. We will always go above and beyond to make sure you feel as prepared as you can for your crazy, last-minute auditions. It is a hard business to be in but we have helped our clients achieve huge success and look forward to working with you!

Lindsay
Lindsay completed a BA(Hons) in Music at Strathclyde University in Glasgow before training in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy. Being a performer herself, she knows the industry inside-out and understands what is required at musical theatre auditions. This means that you can be assured that every note is played perfectly, musical guidance is given where appropriate and every track is sensitively interpreted so that singing your material is a pleasure.

Alan
Alan completed a BMus at Glasgow University and an MMus in Composition at Edinburgh University. He teaches music at Glasgow University and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland as well as playing/singing with international rock ceilidh band Bahookie. He is an experienced MD and arranger and undertakes all the arranging for our Fully Orchestrated Tracks to make sure that they sound just like the originals.

Assisting us with the day to day admin of the business is Karen, who also works as an actress and voiceover artist.  She'll be responding to emails and messages for us to give us even more time to work on your tracks.
